Last week Year 4 went on a museum visit to Oxford. Starting at the Pitt Rivers Museum, and using the fantastic exhibits, they embarked on an Egyptian Trail. The children even had the opportunity to examine artefacts. Using all their senses they had to determine the origin and purpose of the objects.

A short stroll away, in the same building, Year 4 also paid a visit to the Natural History Museum. Here they discovered dinosaur skeletons and a variety of extinct animals. One of the highlights of the visit proved to be the museum shop which provided numerous fascinating bargains!
