Cross Country
Saturday 8th November saw our Cross Country Team depart to the MK Bowl to see if their training had paid off. At 9am there was some doubt whether the event would take place; the heavens had opened but by 10am the sun was peeping through the clouds. Unfortunately The Bowl resembled a sea of mud!
Having been trained by Mr Milne and Mr Stevens the BVS Team really did us proud. Cheering them on Mr Milne was certainly ecstatic at their performance. Well done to all the BVS Team: Demi-Lea Austin, Elle Buckledee, Ellie Wickens, Emily Ross, Coral Coutts, George Greer, David Perkins, Jamie Leech, Try Daniel, Jacob Stanton, Rebecca Smyth, Xa-Zurae Cotterell, Emma Gibson, Sophia Oke, Kobe Davis, Adam Bryant, Luke Lamberton-Pine, Grant Turner,Brendon Eaglestone, Katy Newman and Bradley Van Tonder.
In each race there are well over 100 competitors so we have got to say a particular well done to Judith Molanza who came thirteenth in the Senior Girls’ Race, Matthew Adam who came eleventh in the Senior Boys’ Race and Adrian Stainthorp who came an amazing fifth in the Junior Boys’ Race.
