Sports Day

Weather permitting, we will be holding our annual Sports Day on the morning of Monday, 4th July.

Unfortunately, due to the torrential rain and the resultant flooding of our sport's field, we have had to cancel our original plan to hold our Sports Day on 20th June. Weather permitting, we will now be holding our annual Sports Day on the morning of Monday 4th July. Please could you ensure that your child has their P.E. kit with them for this day. As the children will be competing in their house groups, they are allowed to wear their house colour as part of their PE kit. Your child will know which house they are in. Please remember all jewellery, including earrings, must be removed.

It would be advisable for children to bring in a water bottle, with a sports lid and if it is likely to be hot and sunny, a hat and some suntan lotion.

Our Sports Day follows a rotational, multi-activity format and competitive races within the Year Group. Each Year Group is allocated a time when they will be taking part. You are more than welcome to come along and support your child. The events will take place on the school field and access will be permitted through the pedestrian gate at the front of the school. If your child is in Year 3 or 4, please do not make your way onto the field until 9.15am, as staff will still be setting up events. There is no parking at school and space is limited outside. Please do not block any school or emergency access areas.

These times are approximate and could vary.
