Year 4 Visit Oxford
Last week Year 4 went on a museum visit to Oxford. Starting at the Pitt Rivers Museum, and using the fantastic exhibits, they embarked on an Egyptian Trail.

Well done to everyone who entered our egg designing competition organised by Mrs Maslen. There were some fantastic entries and Mrs Ashby & Mrs Saville had a monumental task deciding the winners.
Although Friday 14th March was the official Sport Relief Day, BVS put all their efforts into raising funds by keeping fit, on Thursday 13th.
Monday 11th February saw the first day of this term’s Creative Week. Using great works of art as inspiration each Year Group produced a portfolio of work and a display.
This Friday we saw the welcome return of Neil Canham from the Cornelius & Jones Puppet Theatre Company who came into BVS to perform The Odyssey
Last Thursday saw Miss Lewis taking a group of Year 3 & 4 BVS pupils to Stantonbury Campus to take part in a Badminton Festival.
Wednesday 23rd January saw a group of BVS pupils from Years 5 & 6 take part in the 2008 Dance Xchange at Milton Keynes Theatre.
Last Wednesday saw our first ever outside Christmas Carol Concert. The weather was kind for us. Although cold, the night was clear and the stars twinkling.
Thursday 29th November saw all the children and staff from BVS depart for Stadium MK to take part in the Royal visit when Her Majesty the Queen would officially open the home of the MK Dons.
November 5th saw the departure of some of our Year 5 pupils for a week of very hectic activities at the PGL Activity Centre at Osmington Bay in Dorset.

For the past few months children belonging to the BVS Sewing Club having been busy creating a fantastic piece of artwork using a variety of materials. The end result is a combination of appliqué and tapestry.
