There are 12 of us in total, three from each year group and we work hard together to make Bradwell Village School better. Every year we run against others in our class to become our class representative. We do this by preparing a speech explaining why we think we should become the class rep. Our fellow classmates then vote for who they want as their School Council rep.
What do we do?
The school council works to make improvements to the school and the way we do things at Bradwell Village We look around for things that could be better and discuss what to do. Everyone gets a chance to speak and when we’ve finished we vote on the best ideas.
We are mostly in charge of organising the charity events each term; so far we have raised money for Children in Need and Sports Relief. We think up activities that the rest of the school will enjoy and then we explain what we are doing in our Year Group Assemblies.
Once a term we run a whole school assembly alongside Healthy Schools and Eco Reps. We use this assembly to inform the school of what we have implemented and any events we have coming up.
